Docusign CEO Allan Thygesen discusses the Agreement Journey at Momentum25 NYC

AI is revolutionizing the way organizations manage agreements - and Docusign is leading the way with a powerful new AI contract agent that automates and accelerates every step across the agreement lifecycle.

That’s the message Docusign CEO Allan Thygesen delivered to customers in his keynote at Momentum25 in New York which drew an audience of customers, partners, and industry experts.

Customers got a first look at Docusign Iris, an AI engine that powers the Docusign Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform. Unlike generic AI engines, Iris is designed specifically for agreement management, and draws on Docusign’s deep understanding of agreement workflows and agreement data.

“We've created purpose-built AI that understands the language of agreements like nothing else in the market,” Thygesen said.

Docusign Iris delivers a new layer of value for customers and represents the latest step in the evolution of Docusign IAM, an end-to-end platform that uses AI to manage how customers create, commit to, and manage agreements.

UI Preview of AI Contract Agents

Since its announcement one year ago at Momentum 2024, IAM has become the fastest-growing new product in Docusign’s history. More than 10,000 customers have adopted IAM since it launched last June, and they’ve processed tens of millions of agreements.

Introducing new Intelligent Agreement Management tools

Customers saw a lineup of innovations that we’ll be shipping this year, including Agreement Preparation tools that speed up contract creation, secure Workspaces where multiple stakeholders can keep track of multi-step agreements, the ability to use AI to review contracts, and a new capability of Navigator that enables users to customize AI models to identify unique agreement data, such as client-specific payment terms or industry-specific compliance requirements.

Also coming this year is a new dashboard for tracking contract obligations to ensure businesses never miss a critical deadline or milestone. We also announced an innovative partnership with CLEAR – the ID folks you see at the airport – to create the first biometric identity solution for agreements.  Learn more about our new products.

Celebrating innovative customers

Momentum is all about customers, and as always, we celebrated our customers with awards for innovation. Winners included Cargill, Insperity, KPC Private Funds, New York Life Insurance Company, Primerica, Subaru of America, and the United Nations Development Programme.

Honoring our outstanding partners

Partners took center stage at our Partner Day event on April 15. Docusign honored the incredible achievements of those partners who went the extra mile to drive innovation, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and champion the power of Docusign.

Eight outstanding Docusign partners were honored with awards across five categories: Insight, Velatura, NeuraFlash, Cimplifi, nCino, CDW. In the “Better Together” category, we recognized two partners – Deloitte and SAP – that have worked as a team to provide key customer research, close major opportunities, and show up powerfully at cornerstone events around the globe.
